INCLIMATE WEATHER UPDATE!
Traditionally GMA has always followed Hamilton Southeastern for our weather closing and delays. This method has worked well for us in the past, but as our school population has grown, we are finding that following the HSE district does not always allow us to meet the needs of our families. After much discussion and planning, we are making the decision to call our own closing and delays. As of today, if there is any inclement weather, you will see Geist Montessori Academy listed on the news channels and their websites. We will be listed on the four major stations; RTV6, WISHTV8, WTHR13, and Fox59 (CBS4). Check your local listings any time there is possible bad weather. First Day of School August 10th
The first day of school is Wednesday, August 10th. Morning carline at the North Campus is 8:15AM - 8:30AM and at the South Campus is 8:30AM - 8:45AM. Afternoon carline at North Campus is 3:30PM-3:45PM and at South Campus is 3:45PM - 4:00PM.
Ice Cream Social August 8th
Join us on Monday, August 8th from 6:00PM - 8:00PM for our annual Ice Cream Social. Your student will have an opportunity to meet their teacher for the upcoming school year, familiarize themselves with their classrooms, meet up with old friends and new friends, and enjoy some delicious frozen treats. Ice Cream Socials will be held at both locations. Please contact the Front Office at 317-335-1158 with any questions.
